I have had problems with the sun causing problems with my door opener during certain times of the year. This device installed in less than a minute and works great! Now when the sun "blinds" my sensor, this device allows the sent IR signal to get to the receiving sensor and my door closes every time.

Didn't work as the sun was just to intense that time of day so I sent them back for a refund. The wonderful employees at Amazon sent me another set of shades after I had asked for a refund! What has happened to Amazon service? I wasted 3 hours of my time on this because UPS store wouldn't print my a label like they have for the last 4 years!

This solved the issue of the garage door not closing when the sun was hitting the sensors. It has worked every time since installing these. Installation took a minute or two.

I used both on the receiving side. The mounting and curves required several layers of some super strong two sided foam tape to attach. I have struggled for years and tried paper towel cores and flattened cardboard boxes. I may have to reset the mountings with epoxy or super glue but so far this is an excellent product.

They fit over the safety sensors fine but did not solve my problem, when the sun is out garage door still will not shut.
