The item fit perfectly. Beware that I had to replace my old one because of a problem with the garage door opener. The garage door opener needed to be re-adjusted by a professional before I installed the new part. Using the new part without re-adjustment would have broken the new part.

My old one cracked, rendering the garage door opener useless. This was easy to install. I did have to reset the limits of the garage door movement even though I put it in the exact same spot. This is easy to do though and is well explained in your opener manual (which you can look up online). I saved $$$ over calling a repair person.

This is exactly what I needed when my garage door started slipping. I wasn't sure of the problem, but a YouTube video showed me the answer. Well with your time and money to do it yourself and save money on a garage door repairman. Highly recommended!
