This part is essential on Linear brand garage door openers in my business.The fact that it is plastic makes it a little vulnerable to break. But it's definitely less $$ than replacing a complete garage door opener.

Bought this as a replacement for a Linear chain drive garage door opener. As suggested by another customer, disconnected the rail at the door end, so removal of the old and fitting the new one was fairly straightforward. The part looks exactly the same, is a good fit and works well
