One day, my husband decided to replace all the garage door openers and the capacitor blew. So, we ordered this one to replace it and now the garage door opens just fine.

I bought this on 11/22/24 and now on 2/22/25 it just died. They don’t have any warranty or replacement info.

I recently purchased the X-18004-b Capacitor, and it has been a perfect replacement for my Genie 18004B Garage Door Opener Motor Starting Capacitor. The installation process was quick and straightforward, and it fit perfectly with my existing setup.Since installing this capacitor, my garage door opener has been functioning smoothly and efficiently. The 50-60 MFD rating at 220 VAC 60HZ matches the specifications perfectly, and the quality of the capacitor is evident. This product saved me from having to replace my entire garage door opener, and the performance has been top-notch. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable and easy-to-install replacement capacitor for their Genie garage door opener!

I replaced blown one with this on my opener and it fixed the issue for a day. Worked just fine, then this blew again. It very likely wasn't this products fault, the opener was about 15 years old, just went ahead and replaced it entirely.

My older Genie quit opening and closing the garage door. Thought it was the circuit board at first, but the door would work after the unit was unp.ugged for a few hours then plugged back in. Would operate twice before it quit again. Found they had these capacitors in them and figured that was the problem. So ordered one and replaced in the unit. Started working right away. Perfect! Not too hard to install. Remove the cover, one screw removes the capacitor. Make sure you ground the terminals with an insulated screwdriver before you remove the wires.

This fixed my garage door issue and was a super inexpensive fix. The only issue I had was there was no instruction that the wires needed to be plugged in a certain way to the terminals +/-. I connected it as from the picture I took so not to cause any damage. I had to change the connections and it works perfectly now. Would buy again. Thanks for the fast shipping.
