Or you can set an L60 or G600 model propane burner inside the metal shell and cook with the precision and control of gas. The high wall of the shell gives the burner plenty of wind protection as well. This kit includes: -a large BBQ grill shell (70 cm in diameter) and support legs. Accommodates model G600 and L60 burners and pans up to 32 inches. Burner and pan not included.

I got the Jumbo model Q70 for its originally intended purpose - use with a 60cm paella burner. It is very well designed and built for that purpose. Heavy duty steel plate to support the burner, and heavy duty supports for the larger paella pans that it is intended to accommodate. (Small paella pans may need to use the supports that are built into the burner.) The sides of the unit are a very nice windscreen, and will work a zillion times better than the pathetic windscreens that are designed to hang from the sides of paella burners. Also the tripod legs make the unit very stable - much more so than the advertising photos would suggest. If you are looking for a solid support for a paella burner, this design is excellent and the quality is overall very good. I'd prefer if it was 2 or 3 inches taller, but the height does not affect performance.The unit also comes with a wire grill grate, presumably for cooking burgers, etc. over charcoal. The grate is incompatible with the use of a paella burner, such that you must choose one or the other at any given time. This is due to the shape of the large leg that supports the front of the grate. The grate is not as well designed as the remainder of the unit, and is not heavy duty. With only a single handle at the front, it will be difficult to lift the grate when there is food on it, if necessary to adjust the coals while cooking. (I suspect this problem will not be as big a deal on the smaller diameter models.) If what you want is a simple charcoal barbeque, there are better designs out there for the money.Worth noting: the paint is not going to last. Numerous scratches on the inside where parts rubbed during shipping, and on edges where it rubbed against the box. Expect to invest in a can of good high temperature spray paint at the end of your first season.Also worth noting: there were two holes smashed into the manufacturer's box, and visible damage to the unit in both places, clearly visible from the outside of the manufacturer's box (see photos). Amazon simply placed the damaged box with the damaged unit into a larger pristine box so that the damage would not be apparent until unpacked. I'll keep the unit, because I want to use it now, and the damage is really only cosmetic, but it does not speak well for Amazon as a merchant.
