These hoops are a great idea for a raised garden. You get 36 fiberglass hoops, 30 metal connection pipes, a pack of green mesh netting (10 x 30 feet), and 18 clips for attaching the netting to the hoops. Using five hoops you achieve a height of 3 feet. If you use 6, the height is 3.8 ft.The netting is breathable yet strong, so it should have a long life. When assembled, this system seems to be quite sturdy, and perfect for keeping animals away from tender plants.

I was so excited to find this kit - it serves an 8ft bed and the fiberglass rods are really easy to assemble. I got one of these kits last year for a smaller bed and it really saved my brassicas from the cabbage moths, so I wanted another one. I have several 2x8 ft beds and I had wanted to use one of them for cabbages this spring. I installed the fiber glass rods very quickly but have not yet added the the mesh - that will come after I get my cabbage seedlings in place.I am also adding some supporting rods along the side - just something simple, I am using long bamboo rods and zip tying them along the sides at the seam where the rods join, so the tie doesn't slide down. This worked really well for my last year and made the arch much more stable. The mesh on this kit is very nice and I like the green color. It's a fine mesh that will keep out all the cabbage loopers and weevils that destroy my early spring crops without this type of coverage. I am very please with this kit, it fit my 2x8 bed perfectly and contained more than enough mesh to cover it all and hang down so I can clip it to the side of the bed (to keep out any adventurous insects. Very nice kit, much easier to assemble than others that I have and quite sturdy.

This is a nice set to prevent bugs from eating up your plants, as well as keeping them a bit warmer during old weather. The mesh is translucent enough to let sunlight through on a very sunny day, but will need to be removed and put back on if your plants need more sun and they are in a shadier area or cloudier climate. The clips that clip the mesh onto the white hoop is a bit difficult to clip on (you have to squeeze really hard and then shove it through), so I just use binder clips instead. The hoops extend out perfectly for a row of veggies. I used it for giant winter spinach and daikon radish. It's a great product for a new gardener who needs an all in one set!

It's decent for the price. Nothing fantastic to write home about, but will serve it's intended purpose with a little maneuvering and fiddling. Definitely decent for smaller areas.

Exactly what I was looking for to help keep the birds, squirrels, and other backyard critters out of my garden plants. It’s a little before planting season in our zone, but I’ve got everything set up and ready to go now thanks to this kit and some other items I purchased. The hoops are fiberglass, and the individual pieces are short and manageable, which can be connected with the metal double-ended pieces to make them as long as you need them. Because the fiberglass pieces are relatively short, it allows the overall hoop to be super flexible. The mesh, is very fine and soft, which will keep out the insects as well and hopefully deter the animals. It comes with clamps so that you can clamp the mesh to the hoops for installation. Overall, a super reasonably priced solution for keeping your fruits and veggies safe from hungry insects and critters.

This is an ultra-fine netting - I don't see how ANY bugs could get through this (other than perhaps spider mites). The fabric is sturdy and there is plenty of it in this kit. With 36 sections of framing pieces, it looks like I will easily be able to make a protected bed of around 2.5 x 4 feet (or around 3x3) that is 20 feet long. This is just what I needed for my beets and brassicas, which every year suffer from insect damage to their leaves. The framing rods are the usual green fiberglass (or something like it) that connect with metal sleeves. I expect that I will be able to use other framing pieces from other kits interchangeably with these. The mesh is sufficiently dense that if doubled over for a smaller bed I think it would also provide a little shielding from the light in climates where that might be helpful.I am looking forward to putting this in my garden in a couple of months, and will definitely report back here if there are any problems with the product. I have given this a 4 star rating and not 5 stars only because I cannot vouch for the durability of the product at present. As things stand, though, I believe I would order this again.

When several (3 to 6) rods are connected depending upon the size of arch or tunnel desired, it’s very flexible enough to form arches very easily. Just connect rods and connectors together and they go easy and fairly tight. The screen is micro-mesh screens and it will keep any insects from entering the protected area. It will allow for air to circulate through, but it won’t allow any tiny insects entering, not even mosquitos. If you need pollinating insects like bees or butterflies, this screen will not allow them to enter, though. After the screen is over the tunnel, use the green double-clips to secure nets over the arches. Squeeze the rounded tap together with your finger (that will open the other end slightly to clip on the rod) to insert the other end of clips on the arches. By the way, when I opened the mesh screen bag, the screen was very moist. I am wondering where this moisture came from. It’s easy to assemble and setup a protected area for vegetables and fruit plants from any insects and critters if set up properly (only possible place to enter is at the ground level). I presume the base of the tunnel has to be deep in the ground for stability. The fiberglass rods appears and feels strong enough for now, but I will find out the durability of the rods and the screen under the weather and hot sun.I will use this kit for my strawberry patches (critters ate most of them in the past) in the spring. This Monirsen garden netting kit can be very useful and versatile for protecting various vegetables, fruit plants, blueberries and etc. in a different setup as needed.
