Antenna was broken and then the handled started to glitch that it had to be sent back or garmin

I love this 300i and collar works great and battery on both run full time for about 2 days and not much use will get 3 days

I'll fiddle with it a little more before deciding to return. I bought this as a means to track and train a 7 month old gsp. I received the alpha 300i with t25 collar around 12-11-23. Was very excited to start using. I have had the pup on a check lead for the most part. The compass seems useless for tracking the dog. If the dog is about 10ft from me the handheld shows he's 70+ feet from me. It also shows he's about 20 degrees in the wrong direction at about any distance. I have calibrated the unit several times. Have a clear view of the skies. I have always been confident with garmin products but absolutely hate the high price. I started with a street pilot back in 2004. Had a few units for the boats. Very accurate in those applications, but for whatever reason... this unit seems not so good. Will provide video details at a later point after contacting garmin.
