I saw so many reviews that it kept coffee "too hot" and without much else. I'm like, who doesn't like hot coffee? But then my church had the same complaint. I realized there is no "keep warm" button, so the machine somehow keeps the coffee at the literal boiling point, 212 or something crazy like that, unless you actually unplug it. Plus it is very tall, the old ladies can't see into it to assemble. Unfortunately we are trading it in for a different one. I'm giving 3 stars because the design inside to not waste coffee is superb, I wish all coffee makers did it. And I wouldn't have minded unplugging the coffee pot once it was perked and letting the temperature diminish over time. But it's not good for our large crowd usage, plus it's very tall.

So happy I got an item just as described. Plus, it is heavy duty, sturdy and beautiful. Such a reliable commercial product.

Packaging is not very good. Actual product was dented in several places. This damage caused the gage to break away from the urn. However, the urn looked nice. Immediately began the return process. Rating is based upon shipment only.

Took a chance & bought TWO at one time because our organization needed new coffee urns quickly.One of the urns LEAKED & THE HANDLE BROKE on the 1st use. We are NOT taking a chance thatthe other one will have something wrong as well, later, when it will be too late to return if it too isdamaged. Also, height makes a difference: The people who are in charge of making coffee at our organization find the urns TOO TALL for easy use. I will say that the box it came in was fine/not damaged & that the products arrived quickly. Perhaps the other urn would have been fine, but you take your chances with this purchase. Thank you.
