Price is reflective of product. The paint is burning and putting off a chemical smell. The logs are turning black. Not a good purchase, going in the trash tomorrow.

These ceramic logs are poor quality and listed as hazardous material. Do not buy. Logs do not work as advertised. Logs do not resemble wood logs at all.

Overall I'm pleased with these ceramic faux logs. They look pretty realistic and seem to be quite durable. They're a decent size, more of what I would consider a medium size, and although they aren't nearly large enough (or enough of them) to fill out my large gas fireplace... they were a nice addition to my existing gas logs to add some realism to the fire. I'd say these are best suited for a smaller fireplace, or possibly a fire pit, but they seem to be good quality at a reasonable price.Recommended.

These ceramic fiber logs are light weight and can be stacked any number of ways to give your gas fireplace a very realistic appeal. Just keep in mind these are replacement logs and does not come with a burner, which is reflected in the price. The set has 10 ceramic logs which I have just began to use because winter comes late in the south, are so far, doing great with no cracks or broken logs from prolonged exposure to heat and flames. We will have to wait and see if that changes over time, though I have no reason to believe they will fracture anytime soon. I would also consider having the firebox and burner inspected and adjusted by a professional before installing the logs, especially if you have ventless gas logs in your fireplace. Also ask them to check your CO detectors to make sure they are working properly.

AppearanceThese logs look OK on about 30-40% of the surface on average but the majority of logs are have several unfinished sides with a unfinished, very light color visible which appears to be a defect in manufacturing as some pieces are completely painted. There are many flat sides (not just one) but up to 3 or 4). The combination of the painting defects and the flat sides makes it very difficult to postiion the logs so that only finished sides are shown.Narrow diameter, same lengthThe logs are all fairly small diameter and mostly the same length and somewhat "blockish" shapped. They are very hard to position in any sort of arrangment that looks like a realitic or authentic.VERY lightThese are made with a very lightweight clay. each piece weighing just a few ouces.Final ThoughtsI could not use these in our fireplace and was disappointed with the quality (unfinished sides.) and the inablity to arrange realistically. I do not recommend them.

This product is complete junk, read the reviews ( I didn't). The logs create smoke, give off debris that sticks to every thing. Nothing that is stated in the description is true.Run.... Run very fast.... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I missed the return date and tossed them in the garbage. Worst purchase from Amazon EVER.End Rant!
