I buy these for making waterers out of 55 gallon drums. I raise pigs and these work great. They hold up to lots of abuse and don't leak. Worth purchasing if you need a good strong seal. Inner threads fit 1/2" water nipples with a tight seal.

The item was not what I expected, it has the improper thread pitch witch makes it leak under pressure, the flange mount is a bit on the small side, if you have a little bit larger opening it won’t seal against the tank.

I ordered a 1 1/2” outlet. It arrived and the box said 1 2/2”. But my ruler said 2 1/2”. So I sent it back and the new one was the same. I suspect the manufacturers have confusion in their warehouse.

Has to use these in a bathroom renovation of tub taps. Could reach up in the wall with them attached to the copper pipe and put on seals and nuts on tub side was way way cheaper than tearing a hole in kitchen wall. Probably saved me getting divorced too! 😊
