I installed an aftermarket bigsby style tremolo on my 28inch scale baritone guitar, so I needed something long enough for the neck but with space for the extra hight of the trem. I took a gamble on this because it's meant to fit hollowbody guitars with trems. The gamble paid off! Miraculously my guitar fits perfectly and doesn't slip around in there. I'm sure it'll do even better for the guitars it's intended to fit!

I got this for my Guild 12 string. There is a little extra room in this case so my leather strap fits easily along with a folder.

Unfortunately this did not fit the guitar I thought it would. I have two cases from Gator for the ES 335 that fit my Gretsch perfectly. I don't know why this one is designed differently, but it is.It's a beautiful case, well constructed and the lining is superior. It will fit a 335, so if you have one, buy this!

I ordered this for a brand-new Sire H7, and it fits very well. The neck is evenly supported, and there doesn't seem to be any pressure on the neck joint. The guitar sits nicely and seems to be supported in all of the correct places including both the top and bottom. It does slide back and forth a little bit laterally, and I may or may not add some extra material to take up that space; for me, it's not really necessary because this isn't going to see any serious road use. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on sturdiness only because the plastic I think is a little thin, but for my purposes (storing it in my house with the very occasional trip to church or a visit to family) it will be just fine. It will work for a gigging musician and it will take some knocks and protect the instrument very well, but I have a feeling that over time, it wouldn't take much to put some battle scars on it. In a 'van door vs. guitar case on a 0° New Year's Eve' contest, it would come away with a crack in the plastic, but the guitar would be OK. I would recommend.

I put Gretsch G5622T in the title because that is the exact guitar I was trying to find a case for. This case is really sturdy and was a much better price than buying an official Gretsch one. Some people will want the Gretsch name on their case, I'm sure, but for me, it's just a case! I just want one that is sturdy and reliable, and this case ticks those boxes.

Received the case and was immediately impressed with the construction. loaded up my guitar and headed off to my place of work. There are feet on two sides of the case, both of which would be considered the bottom depending on whether you were opening the case up or standing it on end. Unfortunately the small feet that are riveted in on the bottom when standing on end are a bit too close to the edge and one of the feet broke off on my first trip. Do I think it's fixable; sure, amazing things can be accomplished with some super glue. The interior of the case is first rate being very plush and holding my 335 style guitar from Grote firmly as to prevent any damage while out and about. I would definitely recommend this case; however, be careful with those riveted on feet.

My large Gretsch hollow body needs to get looked at. I acquired this travel case to take it to the repair shop and I'm quite happy with what I ordered. The case looks like your fairly standard travel case. The outside is pretty hard and quite solid. Something built to take a good knock or two. The actual weight of the thing is as expected, quite heavy and even more so with the guitar in it. I didn't have a problem with the clasps. It opened right up, the guitar fit in quite snuggly and closed without a problem.I was a little concerned that it was going to smoosh my tremolo bar as it is a very snug fit, as mentioned above. But it seems to be okay with it tucked in behind the bridge. There was no rocking around when the case was in motion and no bumps were had. I really can't complain.I obviously can't say whether this travel case is good for serious gigging, especially travel that involves the questionable package handlers at airports. But it was perfect for what I needed it for and I can't complain.

I bought this for my Gretsch G5622t Semi-hollow, and based on the reviews, and the fact that it was advertised for a 335, the fit would be spot on. It's my 3rd or 4th Gator case, and I'm happy with the product and construction, but was kind of bummed that it's too deep for the guitar body. I need to bunch up a few microfiber cloths to hold up the body so the neck sits level across the 2 supports.Initially, I thought maybe this was because it was a Gretsch and not an actual 335, but I've tried an Epi Sheraton in the case, and it does the same thing. So it's not perfect, and as a result it's a little thick and bulky for no reason. I'm not sure why this is labeled as a 335 fit case, when it's clearly not the right dimensions.Since I bought it from Amazon, I took a chance, and didn't want to bother sending it back, so I make do.

The case is overall well made but the plastic handle could be a bit more comfortable. Unfortunately, it is not as good a fit as I was hoping for. My guitar is a bit small for the case. The DBZ Imperial I have has proved to be a tough guitar to find a case for, and the DBZ Imperial case has proved difficult to locate.I will probably keep this case to avoid a hassle. The fit could be a bit better but this case should be effective in protecting the guitar from most harm.UPDATE: I returned the Gator case in favor of a DBZ Imperial case which fits perfectly. Well made too.

Bravo Gator (Ali)
