Nice hybrid case that is at least a few pounds lighter than my similar G****r cases that fit my Strats (when I went to lift the box to get it off the front porch, I expected it to be much heavier, and I and almost threw it up in the air 😆) but it's still just as durable. FedEx had the shipping weight as 11.4 lbs but I swear it only felt like it was three or four pounds when I lifted the box. Inside the shipping box they had a black dust cover on it, then it was inserted into a bubble wrap bag to protect the exteriorofvyhe case. Interior of case has enough lift to keep the guitar headstock elevated so it's not resting on the headstock, and the lid has a cutout so that you don't have to remove the tremolo bar - which attaches from the back side of the guitar with a nut that screws on, so it's not as easy to put on and remove as a Strat style guitar. For the body cavity there is a little quarter inch cut out on the top left so that the strap pin on the horn fits perfectly and will not damage/tear the interior lining of the case, but still holds the body snugly in place. This is a must have if you own a DK2.

Nice lightweight hardshell “bag”. I like the custom molded cases better because they’re more snug, but this does the trick

It's not a bad case but the quality leave something to be desired.

I kind of wish that the compartments inside the guitar case had a cover So things like pics and so forth don’t roll around. I use this for my lefty Jackson guitar and it fit.

The Good:The "hardshell" aspect is really awesome.. It's basically a hardshell case with a zipper. The case looks amazing. Interior is nice, and the exterior seems very sturdy.Really light. The Bad:The fit isn't awesome... the guitar can slip back and forth a bitThe neck support is a bit of a fail. The guitar rests on the headstock with tiny bit of a gap at the neck support. The verdict:The case isn't perfect... I would not lay it flat and stack anything on it. The fact that there is some clearance at that neck support should be concerning to anyone who lets someone else load and unload their guitar. That said, if you are okay loading your case standing up or not stacking anything on top of it, then it really is a decent option. The "hard" aspect of the case is awesome for protecting your guitar from bumping into stuff, and it's light and well padded inside. But if you gig, or don't like to have to worry about how you are backing your gear, then a traditional hard case is still going to be a better option.

I am an active musician although have not played a real gig since Covid hit. I own 22 guitars and among my favorites is an American made Jackson Soloist. I hate carrying 2 heavy road cases to play a bar gig. I prefer the lightweight gig bags, which I can sling over my shoulders. With that said, many gig bags are cheesy and will not provide adequate protection. This case is like a hybrid between a hard case and a gig bag. It's lightweight but strong and well padded to protect my precious instrument. It's a good buy at it's listed price and is lower cost than most hard cases. Go for it...you won't be disappointed. This is a strong, well made case that gets the job done.

Was very pleased. Fit my 93 pro series Dinky perfect. Kinda a mix between a gig bag and hard case. And at the perfect price. Now my guitar can last another 17 yrs. Keep the packing bubble wrap it comes with. Works great as a filler to keep the guitar from rocking back and forth.
