I know it’s an old product but when I opened it up there was no packaging info, no adapter plug - nothing. According to the picture it was still in packaging and that was not the case with this. I’ll be using it for some transcription projects I have going on - nothing major. Had I known this is what I’d be getting for 50 bucks they could have kept it. It’s not worth it. Back to the drawing board…..

listings need to be accurate. this item plays cassettes, however you can't hear anything it is very low even with volume turned all the way up and all static - very disappointed

It was refurbished. The gate for tape insert/remove was broken, had to be pried opened. The reject button was jammed and wouldn't work. I had to hold the play button down to keep the tape moving.
