Fits perfect on 4th gen Cummins. The shift boot is prone to ripping and was ripped when I bought my truck used. Use a little bit of Vaseline to get it to slide over the shifter. Good luck!

First, let me state that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this item at all and the 1 star review is not a reflection of this product. The issue is that the shift lever boot is bigger on many ( maybe all) Ram trucks 2019+ than this one. Mine is a 2021 3500 diesel dually. Mopar does not show the boot part number for my year when looking under Steering Column and Intermediate Shaft. The boot is there but it is greyed out, no part number. A specific search for a shift lever boot will give me part #68400287AA, this part, as the one required for my vehicle. That is incorrect. Mopar appears to want to sell you the correct one along with a new shift lever. WTF. Searching has led me to be fairly certain that the correct part number is 68480815AA. It is rectangle and larger. I've ordered one and will update this review to confirm. If your truck has a boot that is rectangle, this part, 68400287AA, is incorrect. This part is a trapezoid shape.Update: I can confirm the part number 68480815AA is the correct one for 2021 Ram 3500 dually. It is the larger rectangle boot.

Perfect snug fit in my 2014 ram 2500. Got it used and the old one was torn and fit a little awkwardly.

Direct replacement for torn/worn shifter column dust cover. Fits perfectly! Use dish soap as a lubricant to slide this over the shifter knob/column. It will help prevent damaging the new dust cover. Works like a charm!

The part states does not fit 2010 Ram 1500. But it does fit, installation is easy and no removal of shift lever is required.

Despite Amazon stating it won’t fit, it fit my 2014 RAM 1500 Express. The previous one was ripped.

This troublesome factory boot on Ram pickups frequently tears. This original replacement worked perfectly for my 2012 Ram 1500 Express. The boot installs without having to remove the steering column covers or the shifter. Just pull off the old torn boot. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly on the inside of the boot. Slide it over the shifter and snap it into place. Wipe up the shifter and you're done. Highly recommended...

Everywhere I looked, it said this would not fit my 2009 Ram 1500, even the parts stores. I found this part number on a Dodge Ram blog and decided to try it. It fit like a glove. I sprayed a little leather conditioner inside to lube it up and it popped right on. Looks a whole lot better than the tattered one that was on there. Great product!!
