I have been fabricating my CAT5 cable for my network switch and patch panel. That was then, but now that I have these 1 foot cables, I can easily patch my switch to patch panel and best of all, when I hear the clicking sound of the connector matting into the socket, I know the connection is made and will not get disconnected, unlike those CAT5E connector that I had to temper with to keep them connected.

Replacing the hodge podge collection of 3', 6', and 7' cables of differing colors and brands to clean up our network area was a no brainer. The problem is always finding a quality cable at an acceptable price point. These cables fit the quality and price point extremely well, the presentation of our network area looks a lot less amateur now.

Have been rewiring all of our network closets and using the 1ft GearIT cables to declutter and simplify all of the connections between our switches and patch panels. The cables are high quality and bend enough to allow the close distance connections. Haven’t had a single problem with them and would recommend them for sure.

Cables are good quality. Hooked them all up, they've been working fine and feel like a solid connection.I knocked this down a star because the packaging is silly and wasteful. All 24 cables were individually wrapped in a plastic pouch, then packs of 10 were packed in another larger pouch. Then the two packs of 10 were placed in ANOTHER larger plastic pouch. Extremely unnecessary. One plastic sack of all 24 cables would have done the same job for 1/100 of the waste.

In our computer room, we had assorted lengths of patch cables that have been installed over the years. I was replacing some equipment and had to trace cables to see where they started/ended. After fighting through this project, I ordered the 24 pack, 1 ft patch cables and began cleaning up our existing cables. They were exactly what I needed; replaced 3' and 4' cables with the 1' cables and things look so much better. You can now see, quickly, where things start and end. Worked great for me.The only thing I would ask is maybe offer an assortment (6 - 1', 6 - 2', 6 - 3', 6 - 4' or something like that). I found that I needed some different lengths to finish my project. Not a complaint, just a suggestion.
