Excellent quality ratchet from Gearwrench. I read on some reviews about this ratchet having alittle play when inserting a socket I did not experience this at all. It was very tight fit no play at all. Gear clicking is excellent. Two 👍🏾👍🏾 up.

works well in tight spaces, does not slip with high(ish) torque, and is comfortable to use.

90 tooth gear is very nice and smooth. Handle is comfortable. I have 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" and moved my Craftsman ratchets out to the shed.

Good all-around ratchet. Short swing, reasonable back drag, feels sturdy. This ratchet has great reviews on multiple sites. I think it's a noticeable step up from the wide selection of bargain ratchets in the 10-15 dollar range, though most of those work fine too, their just not as pleasurable to use.

These have held up great so far to the abuse I've put them through. I am a fan of the quick release for when your hands are covered in grease and oil or when you only have one hand free. The head is very slim. The only downside is b/c the quick release button is flush with the head of the ratchet it can be hard to depress all the way on the 3/8 ratchet. I understand that they did this to keep the head slim and from being pressed while in tight areas but it can sometime be annoying if you're wear thicker gloves or your hands are busted up after a long day of work.

Bought this after a Y tube review. High quality like my Snap On.

Standard size and the bare metal is great for greasy/oily jobs. Cleans up and looks like new. The 90 tooth is a little smoother than the older 84 tooth but the teeth are slightly smaller. Really needs no oil/lube or break-in. If you feel the need to lubricate these please use a fine oil like gun oil or at worst ATF. You don't need SuperLube on these and it will actually cause them to malfunction. The interior head space are just too tight on these ratchets above 84 tooth.

Used Snapon tools at work for years but favored Craftsman (at the price) personal tools. Needed a new 3/8 drive rachet. Decided to increase the tooth count to improve performance in the process. Arrived and immediately appreciated the finished and feel (fewer hard angles where it fits in hand). Put it to work and higher tooth count seems to swing better in tighter spaces. If you have to use hand tools, why not spend a bit of money on the core component of your socket set?

I'd never bought any Gearwrench tools before this but reviews have always been good for a number of years, so I thought I'd give it a try. I wanted to build up a tool kit for another location but didn't want to spend a fortune, my primary tool collection is mainly Snap-On and other high end brands and that has cost a huge amount over the years. First impressions on the Gearwrench ratchet are very good. It's fit and finish is excellent, honestly, equally as good as Snap-On!! Very little play in the anvil, positive selector action, very fine pitch ratchet action. So, I'm fully satisfied there. Obviously, until I give it some serious use over a suitably long time to reveal any problems, I can't comment on reliability or durability. But my gut feeling is it will be fine. On this basis I'll be buying more Gearwrench stuff and would be happy to recommend the brand.
