This was a pretty solid case for my Pi 5. Not flashy or "cool" but fully functional and streamlined. Setting it up was pretty easy but the instructions are a little lacking (there are no verbal descriptions, just a set of pictograms that aren't always totally clear). I did end up with a few extra screws and pads which isn't a bad thing. I liked the active cooler. Though it is made from ABS it feels very solid and without holding it in your hands it looks like a more premium metal case.

Si no vas a usar un SSD en tu raspberry pi 5, este es el mejor disipador. Tengo una RPI 5 funcionando como un pequeño servidor hace más de 5 meses. Cuando la carga de trabajo era alta, se subía demasiado la temperatura (85 °C). Compré el disipador y ahora está normalmente a 48 °C. Nunca pasa de 55 °C. Totalmente recomendado.

I think this case works great for keeping my Pi 5 cool. It really keeps the heat off of my Pi 5, it was easy to put together, set up, and it definitely keeps my Pi 5 cool while running it for extended periods of time when considering how hot it was getting before. I just feel that it would be better if this case was made of metal, because I believe the plastic keeps in some more heat, and I think it can cause some very minor issues, but other than that, it suits all of my needs.

Plenty of thermal Pads to cover ALL the chip's and even with various thickness to insure the pads made contact. They also used nylon rivets to attach the fan assembly to the board. I found that better than others because it made it easier to plug in the fan. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the case parts come apart a little easier than expected.

This case dropped the temp of my Pi nearly 20 degrees! Previously 65 now 35 ish. Great build quality, and a perfect fit on the Pi5! Nice that it has easy access to the nvme port and SD card slot. It also works with display and camera cables because of the slit at the top of the case! Fan is quiet and seems to be very efficient. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a simple case to keep your Pi cool.

Since I am using the RPi as a media player is not generating too much heat, and this case fits the job perfectly.

Good case and fan but the case is unnecessarily designed in such a way that there is no clearance for the SD card when you put your rPi5 in the case. If you have you SD card already inserted when you put your rPI in this case, it will snap it and make it unusable. Easily fixed if they adjusted they just allowed for clearance for the SD card - they already have a cutout for it so it wouldn't be much of an alteration. Otherwise no complaints, just destroyed a $150 SD card with a $20 case 🤦

The case is well constructed and has good air flow. I particularly like the armor lite cooler, which is quieter and performs better than the standard raspberry pi active cooler.
