It's a good little case. Looks like an old school NES. The lid flips up and down until you put cables in the front. It's much smaller, but fits a Raspberry Pi 5.

Very well packaged. Exactly as pictured, A tiny Nes shell for a RPi. Came with fans which is a great bonus.

The small fan **never** turns off, even when you shut down the Pi system. Customer Support also confirmed this, and their suggested workaround of changing the pins did not work. I returned it.

The case fan and heatsink keep the Pi cool, and the ports are aligned properly. I would recommend this case for your game Pi builds.

Very good design, the board mounts are good, the heat sink mounts and thermal patches are good. Works very well. The case exhaust fan is a noisy little thing. I've had to just leave it unplugged. Other than the noisy fan, it's great.

It is very cute.It holds together quite well, in fact, I didn't put any of the screws in and its all holding together quite well. I also just knocked it off my desk onto a concrete floor while the pi was running and there was no discernable damage to the case or the PI, PI is even still running.

Using this with my Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB), mostly for retro gaming and some light tinkering, and it’s been a solid setup. The case feels well-built and the retro console look gives it some personality without being too flashy. Definitely a fun upgrade from the basic Pi cases. The Armor Lite V5 active cooler does its job—temps stay comfortably low even under load. I’ve thrown some pretty beefy emulation sessions at it, and performance stayed smooth. The fan’s not loud either, which I appreciate since the Pi runs on my desk.Assembly was simple. All the cutouts line up, the GPIO is still accessible, and the whole thing feels sturdy once it’s put together. It’s not just a pretty shell, it’s practical for daily use whether you’re gaming, testing code, or using the Pi as a mini desktop. If you’re planning to push the Pi 5 with emulators or multitasking, this case + cooler combo is a smart choice. Looks good, keeps things cool, and protects your setup without being a pain to work with.

I’m a nerd, this case is so cool. Fit my pi5 perfectly, no issues and just so fun to run a Nintendo emulator from a pi in this case.

Great case for my pi5 4gb. Wanted a case to go with the RetroPi theme. I even bought matching usb controllers. For someone who wants to use a system like RetroPi and add/remove roms over time it's great as you can keep it connected to the network and ftp into it to add/remove roms. Looks great beside the tv.

Nice RPI5 retro NES case has great ventilation with a large cooler ,extra side fan and cooling pads do really help in keeping it super cool. Rpi5 stock case pic for comparison, it’s alittle bigger and is alittle louder with the xtra fan, but nothing crazy. Also pictured are the temps after running emustation after just over an hour of PS2 and GC games. My only complaint that there is no power LED in the front of the case , only the back. I am going to try to use some fiber optic cable to move it to the front open hole that seems to serve no purpose.

The case is great, especially at this price point. It really does look like a mini-NES. The small fan made a bit of a buzzing noise, and so I had to plug it into the 3.3v vs the 5v for it to be tolerable. This was an issue that the seller didn't hesitate to make right. Highly recommend this case, it looks great

First, the screws provided are the wrong size. They are too big and damage and split the mounts.Second, the lid does not attach firmly, it can easily bump and fall off.Third, the holes for USB-C and HDMI are too far forward, so the plastic pushes back against the cables, which can cause them to fall out or have an unstable connection.Otherwise, it's a fun retro aesthetic.
