The Geekworm 15mm Thickness Aluminum Alloy Heatsink (C519) is a well-made and thoughtfully designed cooling solution for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5) motherboard.Pros:✅ High-Quality Build – The aluminum alloy heatsink feels solid, with a well-machined finish that gives confidence in its durability.✅ Optimized Thermal Transfer – The base includes four designated areas for the thermal pad, allowing for precise heat dissipation through passive cooling.✅ Wave-Shaped Cooling Design – The structure aids in airflow and improves passive heat dissipation, while also allowing the option to add active cooling.✅ Extra Thermal Pad Material – If cut correctly, there's plenty of thermal pad material provided, leaving some extra for adjustments.Cons:❌ Thermal Grease Quality – The included thermal grease works but isn't the highest quality; an upgrade to Noctua NT-H2 or another premium option would improve thermal performance.❌ Screw Accessibility – The screws are recessed deep within the heatsink, requiring a long, thin Phillips screwdriver. Including a basic tool in the package would have been a nice touch.Final Thoughts:This heatsink is well-designed for passive cooling and can be enhanced with a 30x30 mm fan for active cooling if needed. The wave pattern on the aluminum block is a nice touch that helps with heat dissipation. While the thermal grease could be better, this is easily addressed with a small upgrade. Overall, I’d rate this 4 out of 5 stars for its solid construction and effective cooling design. Highly recommended for CM5 users looking for a passive cooling solution!
