Fixed my no brake light problem. The 4 star on installation is not the unit's fault -just a note to folks to not expect it to be as simple as it would seem, especially because you're on you back under the dash with no roomto move or get fingers where you need to have them. But again - NOT the switch's fault.

This OEM replacement works flawlessly. Saved well over $100 installing it myself. Took all of 10 minutes to replace and I now have brake lights that work!

I have held off on writing reviews for most of the products I have ordered over the past few years to give myself ample time to really test the products and see how they hold up.Bought this for 2004 Chevy Blazer Extreme when I finally found out after a few months my break-lights were out ( yeah cops behind me at times stopped and people no one said anything!). Has been working fine every since installed. I took video I believe of the position, but will have to look for it. It is simple just remove clip and slide of and unplug. There is a bar in the middle of the outer part close to the clip that pushes the sensor in when the brakes are at rest that needs to go back in once you get the first two holes on the bar and before sliding the last hole over the bar and applying the clip. Hope this helps.God Bless.
