Slide appears to be made of plastic. The low speed adjustment is not the same as the OEM. Way to much fuel when flush with lever. I was lucky to have the old carb, and took the slide from it. After I swapped slide, and low speed needle it works perfectly. If you can’t do the same I recommend buying OEM.

My original carburetor was broken in half from the original owner. Decided on this one due to price. Boy was I wrong. The idle was way too high. I couldn’t get it to calm down no matter what I did. Finally compared it to what was left of the original and found the original closed all the way. This one didn’t it. It wasn’t cast right so the throttle bottoms out before it’s closed. Also the throttle screw doesn’t even adjust the slide because it at was made wrong too. Don’t buy!
