Good quality hemostats but the tips are about twice a large as the normal size of medical ones. I will keep them but look for a smaller set.

I like these hemostats, I use them to handle pieces while silversmithing. They have a very good hold, but this model in particular is hard to undo. The grips completely cover the join in the middle and the more notches you have it clicked in, the harder it is to undo. I definitely don't recommend locking it in all the way to the final notch, it took a lot of effort and several minutes to get it undone again. This might become easier as the grip around the join stretches out over time but I'm not sure

These sturdy locking forceps are well made, well balanced and easy to use. While they are not medical grade, they serve my purposes well.

for large fishing lures artwork, probably. These forceps are heavy and grooves are not fine for use in delicate work, but large and very sharp with only one locking point on handle. I am keeping for use in the future. If I need an extra 5 inches reach for something,
