I received these and am a bit disappointed in the weight. These envelopes are fairly thin and flimsy. They will be fine for storing small amounts of papers, but I wouldn’t try mailing in them.

I do a lot of mailing and when I saw these 9x12 manilla envelopes in multiple bright colors, I was so eager to have them! These bright and beautiful colors are totally outside the norm for manilla envelopes! I like things that are different and/or stand out! I believe there are at least 13 different colors.In addition to the bright colors, there is a small metal clasp (to hold down the flap) and a seal (that you must lick). Overall, if you are looking for 9x12 COLORFUL manilla envelopes, you definitely want to give these a try. They are of the same thickness and quality of your traditional manilla envelopes. Also, they are easy to use, the same as your traditional manilla envelopes.If you like different colors and you do a great deal of mailing, you may want to give these COLORFUL manilla envelopes a try.

I do not recommend purchasing these cheaply made envelopes. And the colors are not pretty either.
