Good strings for slapping, sounds good but wear out quickly. Contrary to what I have read a lot here they are not too long. I once bought other strings and they were too short and and had to use longer screws for the saddles. After checking this in the specs it was also mentioned on the website. There are probably two different lengths, 35.83" and 36”

I bought a bunch of these strings. THEY ARE TOO LONG! They are 36" wind, and are TOO LONG for standard Steinberger basses. A WASTE OF $$$.

First off, how can a manufacturer screw up the length of a double ball ended string? Are there no standards? Surely, there are.These strings are about 1/8 to 1/4 inch too long. The only string that is usable is the G, the rest I wound into a circle a placed back in the package. Such a terribly disappointing purchase. And, sadly, I bought TWO sets. Double whammy.Buyer beware.

DO NOT BUY!!! D string is too long for Steinberger Spirit bass. I did the mechanical workaround pictured. I have used GHS strings on many instruments over the years, but if this is indicative of GHS quality, then it's back to RotoSound!!

Excellent bass guitar strings for players that like to play fast and funky. Plus the price was extremely attractive. I would suggest these strings to players on a tight budget but want a clean clear sound without sacrificing tone or feel.
