It works very well for holding a splash above a large cymbal, but I’d probably not put anything much bigger than a splash on it. I bought it for a 10” splash, though, so I’m good with it.

I've owned so many of these, they are always a go to for stacking. Any one who knows Gibraltar knows they make quality gear. And the Amazon price was a bit cheaper I think.

I'm using this cymbal stacker to mount a 10" stack over a 16" stack without having to add another stand to my kit. Simple to install, threads are cut well, and the included felts and cymbal sleeve are all high quality. Be sure to take measurements before you order to figure out if you need the 6 inch or the 4 inch model for your setup.

We were a little concerned that it would not fit on our stand. We measured the threads on our stand at 7.75 inches on with calipers. However, it fits just fine and the thread matches. The quality of workmanship is fine. The washer at the bottom is metal and not plastic. I prefer that. Pads feel like they are of good quality. Was concerned that it would be a little too high up above the other symbol, but it works. Would have been OK with a five inch too. Did not see one offered. My spouse has the four inch one and that is just too close. Plus it costs more.

como casi todos los productos gibraltar, este ha sido un buen producto de alta calidad, y a buen precio, lo utilizo para poner un bell un poco mas arriba de la campana de mi ride y es totalmente funcional, hay que tomar en cuenta que el tamaño del stacker no es variable, son 6 pulgadas ni mas ni menos

I love these cymbal stackers, they've solved a big problem for me because I have too many cymbals and not enough room. Now I'm using six of these stackers to create a second tier of my small cymbals above my large ones. The price is great, the delivery is PRIME, they work fantastic and they solve a problem for me.I have bought hundreds of dollars of Gibraltar hardware off Amazon and I've been consistently impressed with the quality of every piece.If I broke one of these I'd buy another one, they're so handy and useful.Good music to all!

Pretty cool option if you've got splashes and you got no time/space to put another stand(s). I've bought two of this stackers (for an 10" and 12" splashes) and it works really cool.The only reason that I'm giving it 4/5 is because I think it's longer that I though I needed it (I use my crash cymbals a little higher and, if I want to use this stackers, I've to bring down them from my natural reach). I'm 6"2', so if your hand reach is long, I recommend the 4 inch version of this stackers.

I wanted a 6-inch cymbal stacker and these were the cheapest ones I could find. So far they have worked well and don't show any sign of breaking anytime soon. The reason I gave them four stars is their attachment mechanics. As I suppose it is with most cymbal stackers, these screw down onto the bar the lower cymbal sits on. The problem is, the threading inside these things is very tight or course or something, which makes it an enormous hassle to screw these on. The base of tube has some texturing to get a better grip for screwing these on, but it's only on the base and doesn't help much. Also, I think I tried to use it on one of my stands and it didn't fit at all, so I was forced to use it on a different stand. Although it's supposed to be sort of a one-time thing, I like to fiddle with and readjust my drum set often, so this I'm forced to face this inconvenience quite often; it sometimes stops me from making any adjustments out of laziness. I'm not sure how these problems would be fixed or if other stackers have this problem, but just keep that in mind.

I bought this product to add a splash cymbal to my kit without purchasing a whole new stand. Its high enough the the two cymbals don't touch when swinging and I can still reach the bell on the bottom cymbal. If you buy this stacker and find your cymbal post to be too short there is an easy fix. Get a washer about as big around as your felt pad but make sure the hole is small enough that the stacker itself won't slip through. Remove the wingnut from the bottom cymbal and keep in case you lose another one, put washer on top of top felt pad and screw down stacker post. Tada. That's what I had to do and it works great. Great product at an awesome price.
