I needed a small practice pad that fits in my stick bag for quick warm-ups before gigs. I like the versatility of being able to strap it onto my leg or use the anti-slip backing for table top use. The high quality construction is consistent with other Gibraltar percussion products. Really good response/feel for such a small pad.

Nice surface, nice idea. First time trying a leg practice pad, don't like it. It's too small and I don't like twisting my body to play the pad which is too close. The strap needs to be longer also, I don't have a large leg and it barely reaches.

I was worried it would be too small. I can stick it to my knee and play while in online class as a fidget or ride in the car while listening to the radio. I wouldn't use a large one as regularly because I fly a lot and I can put the sticks away to handle classwork or something without clearing a whole place for notes. If you can whack a Moleskine notebook this is about the same size useable surface area. very compact and will fit in a carry-on without leaving a lump. rebound is good when worn or on a flat surface. higher pitch due to size. material quality is good. doesn't bounce away when placed on a flat surface.

Great for travel. Sound and feel are great too. Might take a little getting used to because of it's small size, but that's good for accuracy development. Velcro strap works well. Very quiet also. I'm very satisfied.

Auch als Schlagzeuganfänger finde ich es gut geeignet um Schlagtechniken wie "double stroke rolls" zu trainieren. Das Pad macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Es hat einen Durchmesser von nur 10 cm, sodass man beim bespielen auch die Präzision trainiert. Es ist zudem durch die gummierte Oberfläche angenehm leise. Ideal also auch auf Reisen oder wenn man zu später Stunde noch üben möchte. Der Rebound (Rückfederung der Drumsticks) ist recht stark, was es mir persönlich einfacher macht die Schlagtechniken zu üben.

I'm really enjoying this pad, it was exactly what I was looking for - a small practice pad that's easy to carry around and it doesn't need to be fancy.My only initial worry was if I needed to have the strap on tight to keep it steady on my knee, but that is not the case. The rubber on the bottom keeps it firmly in place and the strap is comfortable enough (though I get "strap fatigue" after an hour).

I love this pad. It's small, which forces me to be more precise, and if I have to travel, this is the only one I take with. The strap is removable, which means you can set the pad on a surface or something. I have short legs, so it's a little uncomfortable to use for long periods strapped above my knee, but it definitely does the trick.

Excelente rebote. No le pide nada a un practicado vic firth o a un real feel de evans. Es muy práctico y por eso lo elegí. Lo puedo llevar en mi baquetero o simplemente en mi bolsillo trasero y practicar donde sea. Es un excelente producto. Sin duda me dan ganas de comprarme el segundo.

Nice practice pad although I personally would prefer a bit less bounce to the rubber but that is highly subjective. Size is fine, a bit small but you should be able to control the accuracy of your sticking without much trouble. So much nicer than hitting my leg until it glows red with pain. The strap is slightly awkward when attaching and detaching but not sure how else it could be done.Overall, no major issues especially if you like a very bouncy stick reaction.
