I ordered this Kimoda Girls 2 Piece Swimsuit Size 5-12 Summer Beach Bathing Suits for Girls Tankini Swimsuit Quick Dry Swimwear in size 9-10, Color Flamingo (which is actually a watermelon print). The model in my photos is 4’8”, 65lbs and typically wears a size 10. This swimsuit is too large, particularly the bottoms, which would quite literally fall off if they got wet. But the print is cute and the suit seems well-made (gives good coverage). The shoulder straps tie, so I may stitch them together to avoid a privacy mishap down the road. I’m hoping she will grow into it, but the bottoms are pretty saggy. This suit was priced at $9.99 when I ordered it, so it’s a value! If your child is more rounded than slender, I recommend this cute swimsuit!

My little bean-stalk is growing so fast that one-piece suits are no longer an option. I love this two-piece swimsuit because it offers good, modest coverage while still being adjustable and trendy. The material is very soft--it's not going to be super durable, but it will last long enough for the summers of Tweendom. I really like that the front has a more modest shape than the back, ideal for kids and teenagers. The kiddo says that the bottoms feel like underwear--I think she means that they're soft, comfortable with good coverage and they're not restrictive in the legs or waist. However, they are lined and much thicker than underwear, lol. At this age, many kids swimsuits have removable cups, which I find unnecessary, and the kid finds uncomfortable, but this swimsuit does not have any structure on the inside--just soft, comfortable material. The straps are very, very, very long! But bows are all the rage now, right? And the extra length is plenty for tying or fancier bow styles or for double knots to make the top more secure. ;)

This is made of good quality fabric and looks like it'll easily last the season. There are a few things that prevent me from giving it a full 5 stars. First, my daughter is 6 and her size 6 swimsuits from last year no longer fit. For this reason, I ordered the 7-8, but it is huge! The top fits alright, since it has the ties on the shoulders but the bottoms are enormous. Second, the ties on the shoulders are really bulky.Overall, I think it is cute and my daughter really likes the print but I think it would be wise to size down.

I ordered a size 8 for my 7.5 year old but it's too big. I also didn't realize that the top straps were actually tied and not just decorative bows. The bows come loose causing the top to fall down. Otherwise seems to be good material and well made.
