Love this stool. Super sturdy and the perfect height for my garage work bench. The seat is comfortable and you can easily swivel as necessary. It was super easy to install. The only problem has been keeping the kids off of it. They enjoy laying across it and spinning around.

Gladiator makes nice stuff and I wanted to complement my garage with one of their stools. As with their other equipment, this is a bit expensive for what you get. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice piece of equipment, but there are a few minor complaints. Assembly and instructions were a bit of a pain. I was able to get things together, but be prepared to wrestle with it a bit to get things tight and level. I had to add extra material beyond what they provided to get the legs leveled.The seat is a really shiny plastic material. It's a little hard (not hard where it's uncomfortable, but the material is hard/brittle feeling) and I'm worried that if anything snags it that it will slice easily. Maybe not an issue in a bar or something, but in my garage where I use it, it could catch on my bench, an errant nail/screw, or whatever project I'm working on. I added a cheap seat cover from Amazon to protect it and this works for me.

I am not paid to review this product....When you pick up the steel pieces you know that it is heavy duty because of its weight. The chrome is good, not the cheep stuff that flakes off after a few weeks. The hardware is quality stuff, and the assembly went really smooth. The stool seat is made really well as the assembly to the legs. Well made sturdy stool !! Can't believe I found one this good....

The wow factor on this thing is off the charts! No seriously, the beautiful chrome work, the steel, the joints, even the screws, are all very well made. The kind of quality your grandpa used to get for his garage back in the day. Cherry on the top is that it swivels too! Assembly takes about 30 min for one person. Most of it went to check the instructions. Mine came with 3 sets of screws instead of the two sets described in the instructions (28mm long and 14mm). The third set which was not mentioned there was 20mm that I supposed is for attaching the seat to the swivel base. In the manual it said use 28mm, but there was only 4 of them which was already used for the big ring. I guess they corrected their design after printing the manual thinking 28mm will be too long, and perhaps too sharp, for the seat if god forbid someone too heavy sits on the cushion (lol). Joking aside, it can handle quote amount of weight and it’s super sturdy. It wobbled a bit on two of the legs when I was hand tightening the screws, but when I tightened them all with the included Allen wrenches, it became extremely solid. This made the provided plastic spacers in the package to even the legs completely useless. I’m so glad I went with this Gladiator chair instead of the Dewalt which was twice the price and not as retro! Matches my gladiator workbench too. Thanks for reading, and YMMV.

I have two of these stools already - and they are great. This one arrived with the seat not up to Gladiator quality - stitching was off, appeared the seam was melted and the Gladiator logo on the side was slanted upward. I called the Whirlpool support line to get a replacement seat, and they apologized profusely and said they would replace the entire unit and I could keep this one as a spare. Wow. Always impressed when companies step up like this and go far beyond making it right. Nice Job Whirlpool / Gladiator!

This stool is nice, but its a bit too tall for my bench setup. i'll have to modify it a bit. thats mostly on me. What i dont really like about this stool was how difficult it was to set up, and the lack of QA that went into it. i guess it can be assembled, but it definitely has a bit of a bend to it and was only able to fit the ring in one direction. the hardware used is also somewhat cheap and the hex screws are easily stripped. all in all it gets the job done, but nothing to write home about.
