The replacement handle worked perfectly and was easy to install on my 05 Chevy Equinox. But before ordering, I read a few reviews stating to keep the original clips that go on the rod ends. The ones that come with the replacement handle are way too brittle and easily break. Where as the factory clips are more flexible and work just fine with the new handle. Everything lined up with very little adjustment. Would be 5 stars but the clips are no good, so remember to keep the old ones!

This door handle was a good match for my 2007 Chevy Equinox, except the linkage rod retainer clips are too small to fit over the linkage rods. As I was pushing the retainer clips to snap them onto the linkage arms, they broke. They are too small to fit over the linkage rods on my 2007 Equinox. But the retaining clips from my old door handle assembly were easy to remove and inserted into the new door handle assembly. This was an easy enough fix, but I shouldn't have to use my old retainer clips with the new assembly. Someone who didn't know the old clips could be used or throw out the old clips would not have anything holding the linkage rods in place.... Not good.If different model years have different sized linkage rods, this door handle assembly should come with different sized retainer clips to use.UPDATE:Because of this review the seller contacted me and issued a full refund. Now I am satisfied and changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars.
