First time purchasing a refurbished product. Part worked on my SUV. Pretty easy to install. It takes a little work to get to the old part to remove but not overly complicated. Just glad that it worked and now my signal lights are working as they should. Just make sure the part is compatible with your vehicle.

Great part worked perfectly it was difficult to change out but if you disconnect the harness over top of the relay it’s much easier it took me a day to figure that out so for anybody that doesn’t know im save you time!

This flasher did fix my no left hand turn signal problem. I was a little skeptical when I found the torn open GM package inside of another plain plastic bag. I guess this was a return. The flasher was not beat up and did not have bent pins or obvious outward damage so I installed it. I would have given 5 stars if not for the open packaging.

Did what it was suppose to do. Not sure why we need to rate something for actually doing what you pay it to do. But eh.

Replacement part for my gm truck. Delivered to my house for about 1/3 the cost of local auto parts stores.

The installation for this took about 30 minutes. Once you remove the instrument cluster cover and the lower panel (below the steering wheel), you have direct access to this. WEAR GLOVES as the metal opening you have to work in can cut your hands up. You can loosen the fuse panel to give yourself a little more room.I should note that instead of grabbing the relay on the short ends, grab it on the long ends and wiggle it up and down. You will have more play and it's easier to remove. I hope this helps someone on a future install. While it's not an issue, it does sound a little louder than the old one, but that could be because the old unit was going out. Nothing crazy, just something to note. It's only been installed for about a week, so I'll update this if it fails within the next six months.

Installation was a pain but it fixed it. No problems for 2-3 months now.

My signal lights were blinking fast, then once I replaced the flasher with this part they worked normally. Very pleased. First check for a grounding issue. I determined it was the flasher and it was.

Perfect replacement for my customers truck when his trailer lights started malfunctioning.Customers 2004 Silverado 2500HD. He thought something was wrong with his trailer when his right turn signal began to flash both the right & left turn signal lights only on his trailer, not the truck.I quickly determined that the problem was his truck & not the trailer. Looking at the trucks wiring diagram & a quick check of what was going on in the under dash fuse box, I determined that this flasher unit was bad. I really don't think my customer believed me. I told him if this didn't fix it I would fix it for free.Amazon got me the relay the next day & it was far cheaper than the local GM dealer. It only took a few minutes to install & the turn signals are working correctly on the truck as well as the trailer. My customer was impressed. Money in the bank.Highly recommended part thank you to Amazon for selling it cheaper than & getting it to me just as fast as the local GM dealer would have. 5 Stars for all.GG - arbez

I have been having issues with my Left turn signal not turning on. I could generally turn off and try again and it would start working. Seems like a Relay starting to go bad. The Orignal part# that I pulled out from my 2003 Silverado is 15764153. 2/4-W/Opt. Trailering. This relay is found behind the fuse panel on the left side of the dash. The easiest way to get to it is Pull the plastic trim around your gauges. You can do this by lowering the steering wheel as low as it can go and then moving the shift lever down all the way. You'll have to use your key, turn on and then lower. Then carefully pop the trim. It snaps in., so it'll pull off. Just take your time and them slip it out of the way. There is a panel under that, under the wheel. That comes off with 2, 7mm screws on the bottom of each side. Remove the 2 screws. The top is held into place by a pin on each side. You can pull it straight to you. You may have to go at a bit of an angle to get past the parking brake lever. You can now easily see the flasher relay plugged in. There's a bracket kind of in your way, so it's not the easiest to grab onto. I actually used a small screwdriver and was easily able to poke into it, just enough, where I was in it, and then pry against the mount going around it. Once it was out some, I could grab it and pull it the rest of the way out. Pay attention to how it comes out so that you can look at the new one and install it the exact same way. Line it up and push it in. It should go in pretty easily. Then put everything back together in the reverse way.Maybe if you have a different truck. If your flasher still works somewhat. You can turn it on, and then look under your dash with a flashlight and see where the clicking sound is coming from. That's the relay working. Then you have to remove what you need to carefully to get to it. It's not that hard. The new one is an updated part#. My turn signal is flashing the same speed as before. It's all working good now. If I have an update, I'll post it here.

OK ... in addition to the "I turn on my turn signal and my hazard lights flash" problem that most people seem to have, when this part goes bad, I can attest to the fact that it also solved an issue where a) left turn signal stopped working completely, with no green arrow, but the right turn signal worked perfectly fine and b) hazard lights only worked on the right side. When attempting to use the left turn signal, it would click once and go silent ... no green arrow, no front or rear lights, nothing. If this sounds like you, or vice versa (right instead of left), I'd say there's a good chance this part will solve your problem. Fuses and bulbs seemed fine, and I was pretty sure that the multi function stalk was fine because the problem was 100% consistent ... not at all intermittent. This part replaces original part # 15764135. Let me warn you the original part is a real PITA to remove. I finally had to jab the top part with a flat head screwdriver and force it half way out, at which point I could work the entire box back and forth. Installing the new part is pretty easy in comparison.
