Bought this to control a lamp. Followed instructions and paired the plug with the remote. When I turned it on the lamp light kept flickering. Tried many times and even used a different outlet. Kept flickering. Now the lamp light keeps flickering when directly plugged into an outlet. GARBAGE!!! When I tried to dim the light it would not dim and I couldn't even set a timer. DO NOT BUY.

Used to control under-cabinet LED lighting system located over desktop and computer monitor. Provides bright, even lighting or low and soft illumination. Easily controlled right at the desk.

This dimmer does double, make that triple duty! It serves, as you might imagine, as a dimmer, (duh!), but it also serves as a remote to turn on or off the light that you plug into it. Thirdly, you can set a timer and the light will go off automatically. It couldn't be easier to use either! Just plug the dimmer plug into the outlet and the lamp plug into the dimmer outlet. No electrician needed!

Great way to turn a light On/Off or adjust the brightness when the switch is not easy to access. I have a tall light stand where the On/Off switch is built into the base of the lamp. Turning the light On/Off is not that easy because the light fixture is slightly bigger than the base. So I purchased this product and it works perfectly for my requirements. I also love the ability to dim the lights.

Came home and found the wife installing tape light LEDs under the kitchen cabinets. We had a set of wired LEDs from a big box store but they burned out and she decided she wasn’t going to wait for me to come up with replacements. The big box stores change their products regularly and the ones we had were no longer available. Running wiring under the cabinets was a pain and I was looking for a solution that did not involve rewiring.It turns out she made a good purchase. The tape lights were easy to install, but in her enthusiasm she missed an important piece of the puzzle. There was no way to turn the lighting on and off.Had I been consulted on the purchase, I might have opted for a product from a manufacturer that offered a compatible remote control, but the deed was done and we had to live with what we had.The big box store offered two options: install an inline switch in the AC cord or buy a cord with a 110 volt dimmer built-in. Neither option seemed attractive.This product offered the perfect solution to the problem: a full-fledged remote that controls intensity and duration and can be used with any replacement LED lighting product in the future should another replacement be necessary (which, based on the lifetime specifications of the LEDs, my wife assures me will never happen.)The remote needs to be paired with the controller, but it was incredibly simple to do.This is a great product that was a perfect fit for our needs.

We're remodeling our home and haven't gotten around to hardwiring in a fixture in our bedroom. We have a lamp controlled by a light switch for light, but it was a pain to get up out of bed each night to turn it off. This solved that problem wonderfully.Pros:- Can use remote to turn the light on, off, and dim your lamp- Works great if you have dimmable bulbs- The timer is great- Comes with a wall mount so you can attach it to a wall or inside a nightstandCons:- Some may find the profile a bit too big, so you may not be able to use it in an area where you need to use it behind a couch, bed, etc., without much room behind itBut overall, very pleased and is buy again if needed.

Arrived quickly, packaged well. Works as described, very easy to set-up. The remote has a timer on it as well which is nice (not something I need). Dimmer works perfectly, and it seems to "recall" the setting you had it on prior. It also comes with a holder that has adhesive already ready, so you can peel and stick to the wall. I'm using it for an arc floor lamp that has one of those step-on switches (which I hate). I wanted to control the light level, and bonus, I can switch it on as well - win-win! My only critique would be that the print on the enclosed instructions is way too small - maybe use a different font! ;-)
