After I bought this, I found out it would not work with Sony SLT cameras, such as the A58, A68 and A99. I had bought this for the A99 as a travel flash and after a bit of experimenting, I have come up with a solution. The camera will not recognise that a flash is mounted on the hot shoe, so the EVF will be darker than if it was recognised. I worked around this by doing the following on all three of these cameras mentioned above. This was using a Sony 16-50 f/2.8 lens on the A68 and a Sony 24-105 f/3.5-4.5 on the A99. Take off the lens hood; set the dial to M (manual); set the speed to 1/100s; set the aperture to f/6.3 and the ISO to 800. Set the Godox flash to power level 3. Looking through the viewfinder or on the screen, it will show that the shot will be underexposed; ignore that. Take the shot and the flash will trigger, giving me what I thought was acceptable photos. If shooting a wider aperture, then dial down the ISO or the flash power. A bit of trial and error will probably be needed, depending on the ambient light.All in all a great handy very small flash unit to carry about, especially if travelling. Nice little pouch and cleaning cloth included and the USB C charging is a bonus. I would have given it 5 stars, but for the fact I had to experiment with it, but pleased I bought it.

don't expect a lot out of it (doesn't have zoom flash head, no high speed sync) but it's so tiny, compact and light, and powerful enough which is a great add-on for your compact camera (we are using it with ricoh griii hdf and it's fantastic) def recommended for the size and price.
