If I could give -92827272 stars, I would. This piece of garbage has been stuck in my hot shoe for 2 hours now with no hope in sight. No, I wasn’t rough with it. Yes, it’s the correct model. The locking mechanism simply will not unlock.I will never buy another Godox product again after this. Good times.****UPDATE: I decided to get a replacement thinking “hey, maybe this was a fluke, they can’t all be like this.” Nope. Second one is JUST as sticky and difficult to unlock. At least this time I was smart enough to test it before placing it in my hot shoe. I literally can’t understand how this product has good reviews, at least the Fuji version. Absolute garbage.

This is the first time I use a transmitter. Even it's not easy as turn on and connect, but it's easy enough by just watch a short video and I know how to get it to connect to my flash. So far had no problem using it.

I have several Godox flashes and I have been using the X1T-F for a couple of years. When the X2T-F was announced, I liked the individual buttons for groups and the easily accessed thumbwheel so I decided to upgrade. It was a good decision since it is much more user friendly. One push of the group button and you are making adjustment to the correct flash without having to scroll through menus. The buttons on the back also are very simple to use to select channels, change power settings, etc. The X2T also has a new clamping ring which is easier to use than the tightening wheel to lock it in the flash shoe. There are several other internal upgrades which should increase reliability plus the ability to use bluetooth to operate from a cell phone. The latter will only be useful when the camera is out of reach so I have not had an application for that at this point. I am very pleased with the trigger and I think it is worth a few more dollars than the X1T.

This flash controller is excellent. It does what much more expensive triggers do for a much lower cost and is still a high quality item. Godox makes great products and I’ve only used this trigger with Godox speed flashes, so I don’t know how well it works as a trigger for other brands.

The product works as advertised. Though I do not read manual, the company has to hire a technical writer to improve readability for english speaking customer. YouTube reviewer has better way of explaining the product details. The menu though much improved compared to the previous version X1T still needs improvement. It is still very confusing to use. For example, I still struggle when it comes to navigating the menu for switching Manual and TTL mode and configuring its setting. Its not intuitive yet compared to say Canon or Nikon menu. Overall the product is good for what it was designed for.

The performance and value that Godox offers made it a no brainer to add this controller to my second Fuji camera body, and to continue to build out a complete Godox flash system. Additionally, I have had nothing but total customer satisfaction with each of my purchases from INSSTRO on Amazon, so it was only natural that I chose to order from them once again.I've been using the older Godox X1T controller in both the Nikon and Fujifilm versions for the last year, or so. But recently I added a second Fuji camera body, and have decided to part company with my entire Nikon system. I added the X2T-F so as to be able to rapidly switch between Fuji bodies when shooting with off-camera flash. As I anticipated, I am immediately appreciating the improvements the newer X2T has provided over the older controller. The fact that flash Groups can be instantly selected from the 5 Group buttons on the top of the X2T would have been enough to hook me and reel me in. In the heat of set-up, or shooting, it is now so easy to quickly select a channel for which I want to make a change. It just makes sense.I won't make this a list of all the features or improvements, as these are readily available in the online listing. But I would emphasize that the ergonomics are greatly improved in the X2T, from easier menu navigation to the simple, but sure, lever locking mechanism that has replaced the old-style wheel lock to secure the unit to the camera's hot shoe. The X2T LCD screen is slightly enlarged, and the display is brighter, making it much easier to read at a glance. I haven't yet had a chance to use the newly added bluetooth remote control, and suspect that it will not be a feature that I will use often, but I can see trying it out when I need to ensure I don't bump a tripod-mounted camera, or when I might like an assistant to become my VALC (voice activated lighting controller).Whether the X2T is your first Godox controller or an upgrade from the older version, I know you'll appreciate the performance, build quality and ease of use that Godox has packed into this powerful little tool.

This is my first attempt to have full control of my monolights and speedlites. I decided that I liked the features of the X2Tc transmitter over the other Godox flash control transmitters, so I bought it, along with 4 Godox TT600 speedlites that I purchased on separate orders, since the combination packages that contained the X2Tc and speedlites together were not yet available. Setting this system up was a little daunting, because although I have another flash transmitter and 6 speedlites they are all manually adjusted and only triggered by their transmitter, a flash trigger transmitter and receiver set sold by Neewer.I was hoping that I could stack this Neewer transmitter on the hot shoe on top of the X2Tc so that I could use both my old system and new together, but I couldn't find any information to say that this would work. I am very pleased to say that it does, so I can continue to use my old manually adjusted speedlites until I can afford to replace them all with Godox speedlites. Having full remote control of my flash units is a game changer, and I will be going fully this way just as soon as my budget allows. New Godox monolights that will work with the X2Tc are presently on order.
