Bought these to support Lack shelves from Ikea as some of our screws didn't make it into studs. It looks really good against our wall and shelving units. The shelves feel sturdy and hold a lot of books and random knick knacks.

I typically swap the supplied hanging supplies with stronger anchors and screws... This time I didn't and started to use the supplied screws and the head sheared right off! Home improvement stores have gold interior wood screws that match great (Lowe's/ Home Depot etc.)

These support brackets will definitely get the job done: strong, sturdy, thick. It also has a nice finish over the brass coloring.However, one minor annoyance that I feel is worth mentioning is that the brackets had these dots/punctures along the underside (or the side that is most likely to be visible when you install it) of the bracket. From afar they won't be noticable but personally I couldn't stand them.

These gold shelf brackets are a steal for the price! Easy to install, they're holding up my shelf like a champ. The gold finish gives them a more expensive look, not the cheap looking gold color. they seem sturdy enough to handle the weight- i used the four for one long shelf behind my couch. have heavy vases full of sea shells. No complaints here – a solid buy for anyone looking to spruce up their space without breaking the bank!

These worked great for some shelves we put in living room. Gave the mid century look we were going for. Very sturdy with no worries of them bending or giving with weight on them.

Seem sturdy enough for a decorative shelf. Probably wouldn't do a full bookshelf or something though. Minor paint chips and defects but not really noticeable once installed.

These flexed instantly with a 50lb shelf. And that was using 3 of the brackets. It is NOT rated for heavy weight at all.

Keep in mind these have been spray painted & that they are very heavy; they can hold alot of weight if fixed to the wall correctly; the screws/plugs it comes with are NOT strong enough for the weight of these brackets, you will need to buy drywall/concrete screws.
