Excellent product! I used this to cover the beams on the deck I was building. This stuff is super sticky and keeps moisture out, hopefully prolonging my deck life.

Vycor is a great product, but the rolls I used seemed to have only "semi-good" adhesive. I was replacing all the windows on a house that is sheathed in T1-11 and used this Vycor product to weatherproof the window openings, and even after vacuuming and scrubbing the T1-11 (and letting it dry thoroughly) prior to installation and using a 2" steel roller to adhere/smooth it, the Vycor peeled up around the edges in a number of locations.I like Vycor, but for the price and this type of performance, I can't say I "love" it.

I purchased this from Amazon to use on my ChoiceDek faux wood deck project. I watched many videos on which product to use to keep the water out of the joints of the studs after they have been screwed down. I recommend that you install this only after you are sure it is in the correct spot because it is VERY difficult to remove without ripping small pieces of it. It is really only necessary when your deck is exposed to extreme wet environment. Make sure you use Pressure Treated lumber along with this to keep the deck from dry-rotting for decades to come. Also, install it when the sun is out or it may not stick very well, at least that was my experience. Overall, I gave it a 5 star rating because it was pretty easy to install and so far, it works as advertised.

I used this at the bottom of a standalone garage which was built on a concrete slab. It's got nice dotted lines every 24 inches and I cut it easily with a pair of scissors. I also bought a seam roller to ensure contact with the material. It's thin enough not to interfere with any siding I plan on installing. I can tell that water will never get by this stuff. I bout the 9 inch width and if it sticks on itself while being handled it's all over. I was working with a 48 inch piece and the bottom curved in and stuck to itself. It was a real Three Stooges episode with me trying to unstick it. I would get one part unstuck and two more parts would stick. I had to throw that piece away after became a mass of tangled rubberized asphalt. It's easy to work with, sticky, black and easy to cut.

Great product. It is really warm and humid (80% is a low day) and this stuff sticks good to the lumber and galvanized metal flashing on my conventional foundation. Haven't tried to install on OSB but will be installing windows soon. Some reviewers have said that it doesn't stick well. I used a roller press and it is doing well for me. It will come off the intended surface if you only use hand pressure. But if you roller press it then you will tear it up trying to remove it.The little wire is really nifty for splitting the backing. A utility knife is useful to help access it so you can pull it to split the backing. Patience is virtue that is in short supply these days.

Shipped quick. Use this inexpensive material to keep water from sitting on top of your joists and rotting them out. Extends the working life of your deck's structure.
