Again, grade 8 at half the price of the hardware stores. Function as they should, threads were fine. Would buy again if needed for another job.

I purchased these because I needed this size for a GM power steering pump. Although it is the correct thread, it's too tall for that application. I took a chance that it would possibly work, but unfortunately it wouldn't. I'm sure it's perfectly fine for other applications though, so I'm not giving it a bad review just because I ordered the wrong thing.

I went to Lowes and Home Depot to find the correct fit for my Murray riding mower spindleThese locknut’s have the correct thread for a perfect fit. The spindle description says 5/8ths, but the correct size was 9/16ths. It was a new replacement spindle 5/8ths works on the original spindle
