I bought these specifically for the scent as it’s my favorite and they don’t smell like pine whatsoever. I had my girlfriend smell it and her response was “it smells like a regular bar of Dove hand soap…” and I have to agree with her. Stay away if you’re buying just for the scent.

The candles will be fine. I just got the package, and I'm burning the first one. The scent is definitely pine, but not overwhelming. This is good. I'm more concerned that I only found out the package was delivered through an email from Amazon. There was nothing at my front door. The package was at my absent neighbor's door (same building, different unit). OK, this has happened before, no problem. But I take exception to the website stating that it was delivered directly to a resident and that I signed for it. This did NOT happen. A box of candles isn't a big deal, but we get far more valuable deliveries from Amazon. Whoever made up that story should know that it's not acceptable.

They look nice and smell great. I have been looking for a couple of years for green candles for my Christmas center pieces. Unable to find them in stores, I finally ordered here. Just wish I didn't have to nuy such a large quantity, but I guess I won't have to buy more for a while :)

Was really looking forward to having a fresh pine scent in the house. Sorry to disappoint, but there is absolutely no pine scent at all.

These burn so much longer than the brand I previously purchased (also from Amazon). I peel the label and metal flange off the bottom and trim the wick because its a bit too long. Take less than a minute to to those tasks. They seem to burn forever and there's a little pool of hardened wax in the dish I use that's easy to remove and toss in the trash bin. Yes, I would purchase them again and will do so as soon as I finish this review.
