Love Maison Louie Marie but this is my first time buying through Amazon. I have never had this happen and the candle does not appear to be clean burning as the wax literally turned grey, then black after a couple of burns.

These candles are beautiful in that they are a soy candle and they burn very clean and slow so you can enjoy the different scents each one gives out. The packaging is very stylish and luxury looking, and you can smell the scents real quick, but it’s not an overpowering scent. I have one in my bedroom, one in my living room, and one in my bathroom. And all there smell so good and relaxing. I think a great buy for the money.

PROS:✔️These candles are soy, so they burn very clean and evenly. Buh-bye sooty flames!✔️The pure essential oil blends are all natural and not synthetic.✔️They have great scent throw. (AKA: the smell-ability factor)✔️Cheaper than a trip to France! Yet your nose stills gets to enjoy the meadows, forests, and countryside gardens. These aromas are so fresh and just AHHHH. I wish I could lock them in my nose forever and throw away the key.✔️The packaging is gorgeous with a linen-like texture that oozes with French charm.✔️This product is not a jerk to the environment or people/animals.NOTEABLES:◾️REAL essential oils are costly and require much, much more oil to create the aroma than fake fragrances. Also, soy is pricier than petroleum-based waxes. These factors are important to keep in mind when considering the price point. You absolutely get what you pay for, and these candles are some of the very BEST I’ve ever compulsively huffed!◾️Size is VOTIVE. (See pic for scale) So…don’t expect tall guys.These soy candles are *chef’s kiss* MAGNIFIQUE!!! Highly, HIGHLY recommend to anyone who appreciates all-natural luxury, with heavenly aromas! This 3 pack of candles are small, but they pack a punch in terms of their scent. The packaging is very nice and shouts premium, from the plastic wrapping, to the hard cardboard box and the glass of the jars themselves. You can smell the scent of these candles even when they are sealed and boxed up the scent is so strong. Once you open them up, they are very strong. The scent is a little too flowery for my taste, but thats a personal preference and depending on your likes/dislikes you may love it. They burn cleanly, but they are smaller in size, bigger than a tea candle but much smaller than most jar sized candles. Overall, they are very nice and luxurious.

We are not fragrance people, but I wanted a candle with a light fragrance for my bathroom uses. I would have given the candle five stars, however half way down the glass container is a large air bubbleAs others have mentioned, there was an air bubble between the wax and the glass. I also noticed that my wick was not centered so my candle is burning unevenly. I’ve kept it lit for 4-5 hours at a time to remedy it but it did not fix itself.

So beautiful - really elegant, understated packaging and the small candles make it so getting the experience of several Maison Louis Marie scents is an option. The fragrance is complex and not overpowering - nothing fake smelling about them, it's like having a bouquet of mixed flowers in a little votive.The only disappointment is that while I would have loved to give these as a gift, the inside of the box was slightly damaged, which was strange because the outside was well packaged, so I can only assume there was some damage in the packaging process or something. The candles themselves were undamaged, so I continue to use them.

These candles smell so strong like perfume. I mean SO STRONG that you'll get a headache, and strong scents have never given me a headache before now. And that's with them not even lit. I couldn't even keep them in the house because no matter where I hid them everyone could still smell them. I had to get rid of them. Not to mention they are very expensive for a set of 3 small candles. It did come beautifully packaged though.

These candles are truly luxurious and they burn for a very long time! Most soy candles tend to burn quickly but after a few hours of use, there is still more than 50% of the candle left. I estimate 30-40 hours of use and smell. I find the soy candles to have less of a noxious scent and more of a soothing scent but may vary from user to user. I see this brand in department stores and they are very similarly priced! Overall, very pleased with this set and would make for an excellent gift as well.Quality: 5/5Durability: 5/5 - possibly 30 hours!Value: 1/5 - expensiveX-factor: 5/5 - high quality soyI recommend this item for those looking for high quality soy candles.
