It appears that wrapping was at the bottom of barrel for many years, not kept refrigerated for freshness. You have to light two candles to scent a 9x12 room, disappointed this Yankee candle product.

These candles (Dried Lavender) smell great, not too overwhelming. I have been burning the same Votive for Two Days (16 Hours).
