Perfect! I bought other products of the same brand so I have the same batteries to run trimmer, lawn mower and chainsaw . Remember to buy also chain oil for this since it is not included in the box.

Super powerful electric chainsaw. This is the only way to go, so much easier than a gas powered one. Power to spare, 80v lasts an incredibly long time. I have not even had to tighten the chain after hours of use.

Good product for cutting branches up to about 6". Battery nicely compatible with other Greenworks tools. My only complaint is that chain pops off at least once per usage. I found you need to treat it delicately when cutting- ie. do not force it in any way. It definitely is nowhere near the same category as a gas chainsaw - but I wasn't expecting that.

It does not have the high rpm of a gas-powered chainsaw. I have only used it on pine wood, a soft wood, where it worked excellently. The battery life was longer than I expected. So far, I am very satisfied with it. I still need to try it on some hardwood.

This works just as well as a 16" gas-powered chain saw. I have a plug-in chainsaw that is a worthless piece of junk, but decided to try this based off of YouTube videos. It works very well. It cuts wood just as quickly as my gas-powered chainsaw with much less noise, no fumes, and no hassles starting. I'm sure that commercial tree services use their chainsaws often enough that they don't have the starting issues I do. The electric chainsaw starts working as soon as you put the batter in and pull the trigger. Plus, I don't have to have different fuels for my lawn accessories. I also have two non-greenworks replacement batteries that work well and were much cheaper. My only complaint is that it leaks bar & chain oil when it's just sitting on the shelf. Overall though, I was impressed.

I have four Greenworks tools and like them all. It also helps that the batteries are interchangeable for similar wattage tools. This saw is powerful, quiet, and made quick work felling trees on my property. Battery life was good, giving me over 30 minutes of cutting time. The instructions were a little vague but there are videos on their website to help if you need help on installing the chain or tightening it correctly. I would not consider this tool adequate for commercial use but for home use it can’t be beat.
