I bought two of the Mavnai DuracutiX hooks to compare with the similar USA made hook I own. The edges on the Mavnai DuracutiX are smooth but not as rounded as the edges of the similar USA made hook. I think the similar USA made hook will result in less wear on the harness and other items that rub on the more rounded edges.

Ok so this hook is not bad so far. Thick aluminum hook slips onto the harnesses main belt and your saw can rest in the hook. Personally, I find this sort of useful but not really needed. But I think it is better than just having the saw hang down all the time too. Depends on what I am doing on how helpful or hindering it is. This is more of a as needed item then a must have for me.As I was going to write my review, I saw the review score for this item. 2 out of 5 at the time. I see this item is a copy of someone else product. Not sure of pattens or copy rights. CMI is the original manufacturer.
