Good fit. I use it with a couple 717 air hammer. It hits so hard the set screws we're coming out. I used thread locker to solve that problem. I know it's small but a small amount of thread locker should be in the kit.

Recently purchased this item . I love that its a quick release but problem to me is that its a bit bigger so doesnt fit in some areas . Had to remove it to replace hub bearing due to fitment issues . But other then that great item

I'm not sure how much I can say about this but it does exactly what it says. It's a sturdy piece with a strong spring and a solid retention mechanism. Just bear in mind you really need to crank on the set screws so it stays put, vibrations to a good job of loosening things

Fits the Chicago pneumatic air hammer with .498 shank. Works perfect, no more chisels flying out of the spring. Just a FYI if you are using any brand .401 air chisel to do any real work the cp .498 will lay it to shame. Nobody understands until they see the difference.
