My grill mounting was a little different but with some big washers and the housing from my previous thermometer, I was able to fabricate a way to mount it. The thermometer works well, is accurate as best I can tell and looks nice.

I do most of my grilling at 400°. And everything I do on my grill is based on that. It may not be a big deal to some people but as my eyes get older I really appreciate the fact that 400 is right in the middle of this scale. My old one lasted for years and this one fit right in place of it. It seems to work perfectly.

Had to buy different nuts so it would fit. This one is close to accurate but has no way to adjust it. As our old one totally died this is better than nothing. If you need exact temp readings then select another one.
