I enjoy grilling but would nearly burn my hand and wrist when I'd place the meat on the grates. I tried oven mitts but they were cumbersome and not good for a task that required the dexterity of fingers. I knew I needed grilling gloves. I hinted that they would be a good Father's Day gift and when I didn't get any for a gift I got online and checked out the reviews on Amazon. These got a good review so I thought I'd try them out. They were exactly what I needed. I have huge hands but after a little work the gloves fit fine. They gave me the dexterity I wanted and the protection from the heat that I needed. I have recommended these gloves to my mother, they're that good.

Bought for my bbq. But honestly I use them for the oven more. They work way better than regular oven mitts. They prevent burns so well, they are really awesome. Wish I had bought them months ago.

I like tight fit and narrow wrist fit. Very flexible . Looked at welding gloves at first. Larger open wrist and all leather didn’t give tight fit. Much more bulky. Not scimping on safety

I bought for using with a camp oven. However, I have ended up using in my kitchen as well they are very protective and you can pick hot things up like a bowl from the microwave fairly easily. I have small hands versus the gloves. I would like it better if they fit my hands more snugly. Overall I am not sorry I bought them and I like them better than standard oven mittens shape,

Does it do its job as far as protecting? Yes it does and I love that it goes all the way to my forearm buuut it isn’t heat resistant. I bought these because I’m a pit master and at times I have to wrap up briskets and other meats from one place to another and when people stand in front of you my prior gloves couldn’t block heat and I would burn myself and that is why I got these gloves. I love the rubber grips but these are not heat resistant because the meats were at around 250 degrees and I was getting burned and feeling the heat. Although it’s a major upgrade from what I had before but they aren’t heat resistant
