Your cart is empty.Use to quickly install pivot pin without damage to the firearm. Four Easy Steps Step 1. Put the pivot pin tool over the pin housing on the lower and insert large pivot tool pin. Step 2. Load spring first, then detent second into the pivot tool pin fixture. Compress the spring and detent with the pivot tool pin plunger and hold. Step 3. Rotate the pivot pin tool assembly 90° and then remove the plunger. Step 4. Insert pivot pin as shown, then remove large pivot pin tool. Finally, remove pivot pin tool fixture and snap pivot pin into closed position.

Alot easier than the wheeler detent spring and pin instalation tool. And it's cheaper than the real avid by 6$. Works great. Makes detent instalation a breeze

Buy this. It will save you ALL the frustrations. Yes it's plastic, but it works, is cheap, and I can't believe that I never got one before.

Tool worked great. I was building an AR lower for the first time and needed to make it as easy as possible. The tool allowed me to install the pivot pin very easily. I wouldn’t try without it. Great tool at a great price.
