Really great product! This is the best of everything in one EVSE!!! High power, small, portable, and a great Wifi enabled Smart EVSE!PROS:-Portable design for travel, but comes with mounting and holsters for everyday use in garage. Best of both worlds.-40amp Charging (9.6kW theoretical MAX) on a 50AMP Circuit! (Usually I get about 9.4kW!)-Plugs in with NEMA 14-50 outlet or use the adapters at many RV sites and home outlets!-Has ability to set Current (Amps) exactly to what you want! (ex: 1-40, and AUTO)-GRIZZL-E Connect App works well and allows you to share access to the charger, I do this with my neighbor so I can reimburse him as we both use the same charger in the garage for our EV's-Makes it very easy to run a report between custom date ranges which exports data which can be sorted by person in Excel or Google Sheets, also calculates exact cost of charging sessions which is cool!-Comes with a bunch of adapters for travel! (Can also be used as a Level 1 EVSE with the adapter)-Push Notification from app when charging session is completed (plug is unplugged)-Durable build, very solid metal enclosure, and cable is beefy!-You can always change settings, even when you aren't on your home WIFI network by connecting to the GrizzlE Mini's built in Wifi network and using an IP web app in your phone browser. Helpful for setting Charging Amp limit when traveling! (REMEMBER TO ALWAYS FOLLOW THE 80% LOAD RULE FOR CIRCUITS!!!!)-Comes with great carrying case, very sturdy and fits everything, plus any additional adapters you want to throw in there!CONS:-Doesn't come with NEMA 10-30 to NEMA 14-50 adapter for older dryer plugs which are common to charge on during travel to relatives etc. Make sure you get a HIGH quality adapter, like the one from Splitvolt. MAKE SURE YOU USE 24amp setting on a 30amp Circuit like a dryer circuit so you don't burn your house down or trip the circuit! (80% rule) :) :) :)IMPROVEMENTS THAT COULD BE MADE TO APP:-Add ability to end sessions automatically when "Suspended by EV" state is reached (basically when your EV hits it's internal charge setting like 80% SOC etc-Add ability to get a notification when "Suspended by EV" state is reached-Add ability to access GRIZZLE E Connect from Web Browser

I was so excited to get this and impressed by the heavy duty cords and overall package.Unfortunately, I need a J1172 charger and was sent a Tesla charger instead.Amazon customer service says there are no more J1172s available so I can’t exchange it for another Grizzl-e and I’ll have to get something else instead. But based on the build quality alone, this would have been a keeper! It feels like it will last a lifetime.

Nice compact charger from Grizzle-E, works with 120~240V and 4 different plug options. Good job Grizzl-E. However Grizzl-E needs to work on improving the wifi programing, making it more user friendly!

Finally a portable charger you can take and go roughing withVery good quality and made in Canada. 40 amps of mushroom hunting powerSmart features give you all you need to know. However connecting to your WiFi is an adventureWho needs WiFi in the woods?I highly recommend this unit. Got it to replace the charger that came with my car after it failed.As others have said get a Hubbell 14-50 outlet for home use. Also if you are not sure what your doing on installing the outlet if needed get a professional.

I bought this charger 6 months ago. It connected from my garage outlet to my car in my driveway, as my car can’t fit in the garage. When I plugged it in, it dragged along the asphalt a little, not a ton. It completely stopped working after 6 months. I contacted customer support, and they wrote a super rude response accusing me of mistreating the charger. I politely responded. I tried for over a week to get someone to respond to me with a solution. All I got was that they needed me to open the charger and take a photo, but it wouldn't open. Finally, after over a week, another person got back to me and told me I needed to mail it back, but they wouldn’t pay for shipping. At no point did they communicate kindly at helpfully. Every communication was terse and some even rude. I will never buy from this company again, and I will be sure to pass this on to anyone who needs advice on car chargers. Please choose another company.

I originally bought the Grizzl-e Classic, but returned it because I could not find a suitable place for it to anchored on my garage wall due to the heavy and unwieldy cable. Problems solved with the Grizzl-e Mini. Much lighter and compact package than the classic. A great deal of flexibility to hang it with cables coming out of opposite ends versus the Classic where they are both protruding from the top of the unit. Comes already set for 40 amps. Literally plug and play. 3 screws to anchor the unit holder. On top of it just working, the extras are unbelievable! 4 different plug types that are affixed with Velcro. A holster for the plug is also included. And the heavy duty carrying bag with built in Velcro straps for cable management looks like something from Apple. The mini comes with a 3 year warranty. Recently saw a YouTube video where the Mini was subjected to extreme heat and cold, and purposefully run over by a truck. It came away unscathed and in perfect running order. Very pleased with my purchase. A+++

Great support. Before buying I contacted info@unitedchargers.com asking about Warranty if buying from Amazon and they responded 3 years. Setting up, reducing to 30 amp via app was smooth. My vehicles have been happy with the new charger
