Having this for less than a year, I cannot address how long this little G.T. Power Servo Tester will last. Nonetheless, it is so much easier to test a servo BEFORE connecting it to an ESC, battery, receiver, transmitter... It's a handy device to keep nearby when working on radio controlled gizmos.

Delivery by Amazon is excellent service. The G.T. Power Servo Tester For servo and E.C.S. is very smooth to adjust out the potentiometer with very little delay to operate an brush-less DC electric motor of any size.The solder joints and electronics inside are professionally made. I do not know how long it will last. Be careful about how you plug your wired device or you'll mess up the signal to the E.C.S.. If you have a motor make sure the motor is mounted and secured to a mounting plate.

The LED lights on this are VERY bright, almost blinding. This product looks really nice and worked perfectly for me. I am building a high end competition spec rc drift car and this helped me get my steering geometry and settings really dialed in. Most servos are pretty good in terms of being centered when you buy them but getting the servo arm on at the right angle is the hard part as its not completely centered as each chassis needs a certain servo arm angle. This takes the guesswork out of the equation and can also help with seeing if your servo works properly or if there is an issue with it.

CAN CENTER SERVO ARM'S IN SECONDS. HELP CHECK SERVO'S TO FIND IF THEY ARE BAD OR PROBLEM WITH CONECTION. CAN SEE HOW MUCH THROW YOU GETTING WITH SERVO. BEST PRODUCT I HAVE PURCHASED IN LONG TIME AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. I HAD A SERVO ON ONE OF MY PLANES THAT KEPT TWITCHING FORM TIME TO TIME. BY USING THIS PRODUCT IN WIPER MODE AND LET IT RUN FOR APX 5 MIN IT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. IT PAID FOR ITSELF IN THE FIRST HOUR I OWNED IT BY HELPING ME FIND PROBLEMS WITH 4 SERVO'S THAT I HAD REPLACED IN PAST AND I WAS ABLE TO FIND PROBLEMS WITH LEAD'S OR NO PROBLEM WITH SERVO WHEN I THOUGHT THERE WAS ONE. LOVE IT!!!!

I like the metal case which makes it more durable and easier to handle unlike some less expensive testers that are just a circuit board wrapped with a mylar or plastic cover. It has only one down side, you can only connect to three output connectors. Works good and got here fast!
