This is 3-D printed adapter. Good idea, but does not fit snugly in my POWERTEC track. Returned this item and bought a similar product on Amazon that allows more adjustment for a tighter fit.

Worked great. Without the rail and adapter I could not have done a straight line for 68” of baseboard molding.

This slides into your rail system easily (I have a WEN track). It's made of FDM 3D printed resin, so a little rough around the edges but it does what it's supposed to. I've put it through about 40 ft so far of fairly rough channel routing and it's held up fine. There is a small amount of play between the guide and the track, but this is easily compensated for by applying pressure in a consistent direction.

I needed to route shallow parallel grooves in an old existing oak strip floor. Any error would be both unsightly and a possible trip hazard. The first groove needed to be within about two inches from irregular built ins. That meant using a trim router. I have several track saw systems including one by Powertech compatible with the Festool and Makita systems and with this adapter. I also have an old Ryobi One + trim router (an earlier model than the one shown on the Item page). To my chagrin Ryobi had very slightly changed the screw pattern and the adapter would not fit my router. A little investigation showed that it does fit the current model, and also fits the Ridgid 18V and corded trim routers. More important to me it fits two of the four mounting holes in the MLCS Rocky 30 router fixed base. I own the Rocky 30 in both the corded and cordless versions. Aligning the Rocky 30 baseplate to the adapter with two 3/16" drill shanks I drilled two additional 3/16' holes in the adapter using the baseplate holes as a drill guide. I countersank the new holes and the adapter works with my MLCS routers. Problem solved!I works so well that I intend buying another for one of my larger plunge routers for doing the next set of grooves which do not have the tight clearance issues. I give it only four stars because I thought it a bit pricey for such a simple accessory, not because of any quality or functionality issue.
