I bought this not expecting too much as it was a cheaper version of the Picasso bow. The secret is to follow the instructions and smother the bow in the resin provided. Honestly, it give a loud satisfying almost cello like sound. The bow itself feels reassuringly well made and not cheap. Your also provided with the resin, sandpaper to get the resin and a small screwdriver too slacken the tension on the hairs for storage. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to buy again.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter who is a music teacher. She enjoys introducing her students to different types of instruments. She loved it and it worked really well for her. The only thing I would add is that on her old guitar strings, it did not sound as well. She replaced her strings with newer ones and it worked beautifully.

Funziona veramente bene, ammetto che ho avuto una piccola esperienza con il violino, quindi avvantaggiato dal saper dosare la resina per il giusto attacco sulle corde. Ci vuole comunque un pò di pratica come in ogni cosa ma con delay e reverbero su una acustica si possono fare cose veramente piacevoli ed interessanti. Chiaramente non si più pretendere molto sotto il profilo del sustain delle note in quanto non è paragonabile con la lunghezza e versatilità di un arco per violino.Pulire sempre bene le corde dopo l'uso, altrimenti si sporcano troppo altrimenti il primario uso delle dita o del plettro sulla chitarra acustica viene un pò compromesso in quanto non scorrerebbero come si deve.

Cool and fun to play with. Takes a little time to learn to use it but such a cool sound. Not something I will use that often but it's nice to have to get a different sound. I could see this being fun in the studio to add a cool effect. Good value.
