I seem to be developing arthritus in my hands, which is making it increasingly difficult to play guitar. It doesn't matter that I'm not good at it; it only matters that I enjoy it. Consequently, I am not looking forward to the day when I won't be able to play at all. Enter the Guitar Chord Trainer/Presser. Although it arrived without any documentation, I was able to find a similar item that offered installation instructions and a chord chart that shows which buttons to press to play the various common chords. It installed easily, but took a bit of trial and error to find just the right position on the fretboard to attach it to. Once I crossed that hurdle, there is a little bit of left/right adjustment in order to align it properly with the guitar strings. After, that, with the aid of the chord chart, I was able to produce some fairly decent sounding chords. The only issue I have with this product is that when the guitar is in the normal playing position, as shown in the second photo, you can't see the chord names on the tabs, which means that in order to use this Chord Presser, I will have to memorize the names and placement of all the tabs in order to play a song without turning into a contortionist. For this reason, and the lack of documentation, I deducted two stars. Otherwise, it works as intended. However, the longer I can go without having to use it the better. But there is some satisfaction in knowing that I have options when the time comes.

I bought this chord presser to help me play the guitar and frankly it is not useful. First of all it is made of plastic, it's doesn't fit well on my guitar, it's very rigid, and it doesn't play the right tunes. The buttons do not press the the strings well.

When I first started playing the guitar, I couldn't play exactly the notes I wanted to play, but since I've used it, I've been able to pick up any new songs at once, and now I'm very confident when I'm learning new songs, much faster than before. It's an incredible learning tool
